Chicago Blackhawks Rumors: Forward Expected to be Shopped

The Chicago Blackhawks have made several moves since they have begun their rebuild, and that is expected to carry over to this offseason. As a result, one player who they are reportedly willing to shop is forward Jason Dickinson.

Dickinson is set to enter the final year of his contract, and he is coming off of a solid campaign for the Blackhawks. After posting an underwhelming 11-point campaign in 62 games with the Vancouver Canucks in 2021-22, Dickinson responded to it by scoring nine goals and recording a career-high 30 points. With this strong season, he has raised his value, and the Blackhawks should take advantage of it.

Dickinson has shown that he can be a decent bottom-six forward, as he plays a reliable defensive game and can chip in offensively in the process. Therefore, we should see plenty of teams target him this summer. Some clubs who could be in the mix include the Colorado Avalanche, Florida Panthers, St. Louis Blues, and Columbus Blue Jackets.
