Vancouver Canucks Rumors: 2 Teams Linked to Brock Boeser

The Vancouver Canucks are expected to listen to offers for Brock Boeser again this offseason as they look to clear cap space. Due to this, the Minnesota native is starting to be linked to the New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins.

It has become clear that the Islanders need another top-six winger if they hope to improve their roster. Their primary issue over the last few years has been their lack of scoring, and adding a player like Boeser could be a great way to help change that. He would work nicely in their top six and become a key part of their power play as well.

The Penguins, on the other hand, are going to be on the hunt for a top-six winger due to Jason Zucker's pending UFA status. With that, Mikael Granlund has not worked out as a Penguin, so bringing in Boeser would give them a major upgrade over him.

We will need to wait and see if either of these two clubs can successfully acquire the skilled winger from here.
