Boston Bruins Rumors: 3 Trade Destinations for Taylor Hall

The Boston Bruins are a financial mess this summer as there's going to need to be a number of changes made to the roster. With bonus overages from last season carrying over to the 2023-24 campaign, general manager Don Sweeney has no choice but to shift some resources around and become more cap savvy. Look for the Bruins to shop Taylor Hall with the latest on trade talks including:

Colorado Avalanche

The Avs are looking for top-six help next season and could see Hall as a solid veteran who could step in on left wing. Colorado has a ton of cap space to use this summer and with a weak free-agent class could look to a trade for help. Hall recorded 36 points in 61 regular season games and turned it on during the Stanley Cup Playoffs with eight points in seven games. His track record should outweigh a tough season in Boston.

Dallas Stars

Another team desperate for top-six help, look for the Stars to be active this summer. Max Domi is expected to cash in during free agency this summer and will likely be signing elsewhere. If Domi does indeed leave, this could open to door up wide open for a trade and Hall could be a target.

Calgary Flames

Hall has a 10-team no trade list, however a move to Calgary to faceoff against his old team who gave up on his is likely something he approves. Hall was born in Calgary so perhaps he sees his career come full circle this offseason. Flames new GM Craig Conroy isn't shy admitting the team needs some help up front and adding the speed and finishing ability of Hall could be a great place to start.
