Seattle Kraken Rumors: Star Forward Becoming Trade Target

The Seattle Kraken had a very good 2022-23 season and proved that they are a team to watch in the Western Conference. Yet, they now should be looking to strengthen their roster as they aim to get back into the playoffs next year. As a result of this, one trade candidate who is on their radar is Ottawa Senators star Alex DeBrincat.

It is not a secret that the Kraken could use a star scoring winger in their lineup. Although they found success this season, it would be very beneficial for them to bring in a high-impact forward like DeBrincat. He would instantly bolster their top six if acquired and could be the perfect linemate for rising star Matty Beniers.

The Kraken also have the money to ink him to a long-term extension, so they certainly could consider going down this route. On paper, there appears to be a very good match here, but we will need to wait and see if the Kraken can successfully bring him in from here.
