The 2022 champion Colorado Avalanche are the odds-on favorites at this point to return to the winner's circle in 2024, at +800 odds. They were upset in the first round of this year's playoffs by the upstart Seattle Kraken.

The Edmonton Oilers, who came up short in the second round to the eventual champs this season, are second in betting odds, at +900.
