Bruins Rumors: Pacific Division Team Showing Trade Interest In Jake DeBrusk

Despite facing ups and downs, including periods of discord with former coach Bruce Cassidy and a trade request, DeBrusk's recent resurgence cannot be ignored.

One trade scenario that has emerged centers around the Flames' pursuit of DeBrusk.

The Flames might consider offering a deal that includes sending Flames center Mikael Backlund and possibly a mid-round draft pick as well to the Bruins in exchange for DeBrusk.

At 34 years old, Backlund had a career-best season last year, scoring 19 goals and 56 points across 82 games last season.
