Dallas Stars Rumors: Forward Available for Trade

The Dallas Stars are looking to free up some cap space before the start of the season. Due to this, they are reportedly open to moving out Radek Faksa.

Faksa's name has been in the rumor mill since this past season, and it makes sense. His $3.25 million cap hit is expensive for what he provides, and his placement on their depth chart has fallen over the last few years. His deal also does not end until the completion of the 2024-25 season.

Rebuilding teams with a lot of cap space could consider the prospect of taking on Faksa's contract if it also means adding a notable prospect or draft pick. Some clubs that stand out as possible landing spots for him include the Anaheim Ducks, San Jose Sharks, Philadelphia Flyers, and Arizona Coyotes because of this.

Faksa appeared in 81 games this past season for the Stars, posting 11 goals and 20 points. He also was quiet during the playoffs, recording three points to go along with a minus-5 rating.

We will need to wait and see if the Stars can find a way to move Faksa's contract before the start of the upcoming season.
