Martin Jones & Many Others Placed On Waivers

Martin Jones is one of the most notable names available. His waiver placement was expected, however, as the Toronto Maple Leafs have Ilya Samsonov and Joseph Woll as their tandem. Look for teams with goalie injuries like the Tampa Bay Lightning and Colorado Avalanche as possible landing spots.

Veteran winger Joel Armia is a notable name hitting the waiver wire. However, after his rough 2022-23 season, it seems unlikely that a team will claim him, especially with his high cap hit.

Zach Bogosian could get some looks on the waiver wire, as he is a hard-nosed right-shot defenseman with plenty of NHL experience. He also is easily affordable.

Lassi Thomson and Grigori Denisenko are also interesting to see on waivers, as they were recently claimed off waivers by their current teams.
