Blues Rumors: Scoring Winger Could Be Moved By St. Louis

Earlier this month, the St. Louis Blues made headlines, placing skilled forward Jakub Vrana on waivers. Although he cleared waivers, there could be a team out there willing to take a chance on him, especially if the Blues retain salary. Due to this, he found himself on Chris Johnston's latest trade board for The Athletic.

Vrana showed last season that he can still be an effective top-six forward following his trade to the Blues. In 20 games with them last campaign, he had an impressive 10 goals to go along with four assists. However, things have not gone the same for him this season, as he had just two goals and six points in 19 games before his demotion.

When noting that he has had success at the NHL level as recently as just last season, it would not be too surprising if we saw him dealt at some point this season. He could use a fresh start, while the Blues would likely love to give him one.
