Buffalo Sabres Winger Leaves Game With Injury

Buffalo Sabres forward Jordan Greenway left the club's contest against the Carolina Hurricanes in the first period last night (Dec. 2) after suffering an upper-body injury.

Greenway, 26, is a key part of the Sabres' roster, so it is certainly concerning to hear that he has suffered an injury. At the time of this writing, an update has not been provided on the severity of his injury, and the hope is that he will not need to miss any significant time.

Greenway has appeared in 21 games this season with the Sabres, where he has two goals, seven points, 29 hits, and a minus-1 rating. Although his offense is a bit lower this season, his impact comes from his physical play, and the Sabres will miss that if he is forced to miss time.

We will need to wait and see what the specifics of Greenway's injury end up being from here. Here's to hoping it is not anything too significant.
