Canadiens Rumors: 2 Potential Landing Spots for Tanner Pearson

The Montreal Canadiens are expected to be sellers this season, and one forward who could be on the move before the deadline passes is winger Tanner Pearson. He is a veteran forward with an expiring contract, so he could be made available. Because of this, let’s go over two possible landing spots for him.

Winnipeg Jets: The Winnipeg Jets could use a little help in their bottom six, so Pearson could make sense for them. Besides having the potential to give them decent secondary scoring, he would also give them an experienced player with plenty of playoff success.

Tampa Bay Lightning: The Tampa Bay Lightning should be looking for forward depth this season. Their bottom six needs a boost, and Pearson would give them that if playing at his highest level. With that, he could also be an option for their second power play unit if acquired.

We will now need to wait and see if either of these two clubs ends up landing Pearson before the trade deadline passes from here.
