Oilers: 3 Top Trade Candidates Heading Into 2024

Christmas is over, and now the new year is less than one week away. Thus, over these next few days, we here at NHL Trade Rumors will discuss the three top trade candidates from each team heading into 2024.

In this latest edition of the series, the Edmonton Oilers will be the team of discussion.

Warren Foegele: The Oilers are expected to free up some cap space at the deadline to make other moves, and one player who has been named as a trade candidate throughout the season is Warren Foegele. Teams looking for a bit more scoring in their bottom six will call Edmonton about him.

Philip Broberg: Philip Broberg could use a change of scenery, and it seems that his time with the Oilers will come to a close shortly. He is a former top prospect with upside, so rebuilding clubs should express interest.

Jack Campbell: The Oilers will try to find a way to get rid of Jack Campbell's contract by the deadline, but his contract will make that quite challenging. It simply has not worked out in Edmonton for him, and he has struggled to find his form in the AHL.
