Penguins Rumors: 3 Trade Candidates for 2023-24 Season

It has been a disappointing start to the season for the Pittsburgh Penguins. If they do not turn things around quickly, they may be among the NHL's sellers. If this is the case, here are three players who could be moved.

Rickard Rakell: Rickard Rakell has been picking up some steam in the rumor mill due to his slow start to the season. When playing at his best, he is a solid top-six forward, so there may be a team out there willing to take a chance on him.

Alex Nedeljkovic: Alex Nedeljkovic is having a nice start to his season and looking more like how he did with the Carolina Hurricanes. Due to this, if the Penguins are sellers and shop him, there should be interest in him from teams needing more depth in net. This is especially so if he continues playing well.

Pierre-Olivier Joseph: Pierre-Olivier Joseph has been in the rumor mill for multiple seasons, so he is a player to watch this season. The young defenseman could get interest from teams needing a little more depth on the blue line.
