Philadelphia Flyers Rumors: Sean Walker Linked to 6 Teams as Trade Option

The Philadelphia Flyers have overachieved this season and are off to a surprising 17-10-3 record, good for second in the Metropolitan Division. Despite the unexpected success, don't expect to see general manager Daniel Briere going for the Stanley Cup.

Briere recently admitted the team is still very much in sell mode and have been receiving a ton of trade interest in right-handed defenseman Sean Walker. Walker, in his first season in Philly, is having a career season and has played a major role for the team on the back end.

So far in 30 games, the 29-year-old has recorded 11 points, while playing a major role on the Flyers penalty kill, and has seen some time on the power play as well. He's playing close to 21 minutes a game and has turned some heads with his steady play on both sides of the puck.

Recently, The Athletic's Shayna Goldman linked Walker to the following teams regarding a trade before March's deadline including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Dallas Stars, New Jersey Devils, Winnipeg Jets, Colorado Avalanche and Edmonton Oilers.
