Pittsburgh Penguins Place Forward On Waivers

There is a new player on waivers, as the Pittsburgh Penguins have placed forward Vinnie Hinostroza on the wire.

Hinostroza has played in 12 games during this season with the Penguins, where he has one goal, two assists, and a minus-1 rating. Overall, he has had a fairly underwhelming start to his tenure with the Penguins, and now he is available for the taking on the waiver wire because of it.

Teams looking to add a bit more forward depth to their roster could consider the prospect of taking a chance on Hinostroza. He has a very affordable cap hit and has proven in the past to be a solid bottom-six forward who can chip in offensively.

We will now need to wait and see what happens with Hinostroza from here. He could be a good addition for a club dealing with some injury trouble on offense, but time will tell if he gets claimed.
