Sharks Rumors: 3 Teams Linked to Anthony Duclair

The San Jose Sharks are going to be one of the biggest sellers in the NHL at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. This is because they are the worst team in the entire league, and they are, of course, in the middle of a big rebuild. Because of this, pending unrestricted free agent (UFA) Anthony Duclair is expected to be dealt.

Duclair is now beginning to generate some interest around the league because of this. According to the Fourth Period, the Edmonton Oilers, Colorado Avalanche, and Vegas Golden Knights are all currently linked to the skilled winger.

The Oilers are expected to add some more scoring to their roster before the deadline passes, so it makes sense that they are interested in Duclair. With salary retained, he could be a worthwhile addition to their middle six.

The Avs could use a bit more skill in their bottom six, and a player like Duclair would give them that. As for the Golden Knights, they are in a similar position, and they are going to be looking to bring in some forward depth before the deadline because of it.

We will now need to wait and see what happens with Duclair from here. It would not be surprising at all if more teams end up making a push for him over these handful of weeks, especially when more of the bigger name forwards are off the board.
