Blue Jackets Rumors: 3 Teams Linked to Boone Jenner

The Columbus Blue Jackets are gearing up to be sellers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. Several of their players have come up in the rumor mill because of it, and the most notable of the bunch is team captain Boone Jenner.

While the Blue Jackets are not actively shopping Jenner, they are at least hearing offers for him over the next few weeks. Interest in his services is starting to increase because of it, too, as The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta and Dennis Bernstein reported that the Edmonton Oilers, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Colorado Avalanche are all linked to him.

It is understandable that Jenner is generating interest from these clubs. Each of them would benefit by adding a hard-nosed forward like Jenner, who also provides plenty of skill along with it. As a result, he would be a major addition to any of these playoff clubs.

The Blue Jackets could get a big return for Jenner if they elect to move him because of his excellent leadership, scoring ability, and strong defensive play. In other words, he is a player built for the playoffs, and it will be fun to see if any of these three teams are able to steal him from the Blue Jackets before the deadline passes from here.
