Golden Knights Rumors: Coyotes Forward On Team's Radar

The Vegas Golden Knights are once again one of the teams in the NHL this season. This was expected, as they are, of course, the reigning Stanley Cup champions. As a result of their strong campaign, they are naturally entering the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline as buyers.

One area that the Golden Knights are looking to improve is their middle six, and they have been browsing the trade market because of this. Arizona Coyotes forward Jason Zucker is one player who has been reportedly grabbing the attention of the Golden Knights.

For much of this season, the Coyotes were very much in the playoff race. However, due to their significant struggles as of late, their playoff hopes have dropped off, and now they are entering the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline as clear sellers. With Zucker being on an expiring deal, the expectation is that he will find a new home over the next few weeks.

Zucker would be a nice addition to the Golden Knights' second line or third line, as he is a solid contributor when performing at his highest level. Besides giving them more offense, he would also provide them with more physicality, as he does have an edge to his game. He would also be a strong addition to their power play because of his high offensive IQ.

In 43 games this season with the Coyotes, Zucker has eight goals to go along with 22 points.
