NHL Rumors: Bruins & Wild Becoming Possible Trade Partners

The Boston Bruins are heading into the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline expected to be buyers. While adding some help on offense should be on their agenda, they are also expected to target right-shot defensemen over the next few weeks.

The Minnesota Wild, on the other hand, are expected to be one of the league's sellers, as they are having a tough season. As a result of this, one player who has been picking up some steam as a trade candidate is veteran defenseman Zach Bogosian. Bogosian is a player whom the Bruins could target as they look to add more depth.

It is not a secret that the Bruins would benefit by adding more help to the right side of their defensive group. Bringing in Bogosian would give them another option for their bottom pairing or, at least, an experienced seventh defenseman to work with.

Bogosian would also give the Bruins more physicality on the blue line, which is something that they would benefit by adding for the postseason. With that, he has an easily affordable cap hit, so he would not be too hard to fit in financially for the Bruins.

We will now need to wait and see if the Bruins and Wild end up making a trade centering around Bogosian before the deadline passes from here.
