Predators Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Tommy Novak

The Nashville Predators are gearing up for the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. It is quite possible that they will sell off some of their pending UFAs, as they are retooling their group. One forward who could be on the move because of this is Tommy Novak. As a result, let's discuss three possible landing spots for him now.

New York Rangers: The New York Rangers are looking to add to their center depth before the deadline passes. Filip Chyil is done for the season, while Nick Bonino's contract has been terminated. As a result, they are in a position to bring in a player like Novak. He could be a great option for their third-line center role.

Colorado Avalanche: The Colorado Avalanche are also looking to bring in a center. It is understandable, as they have had trouble finding a permanent solution for the second-line center role. Perhaps bringing in a player like Novak could be the answer, as he is having a strong 2023-24 season.

Edmonton Oilers: The Edmonton Oilers have been looking to add to their bottom six, and a player like Novak could give them a boost because of it. He would work well on their third line if acquired and would also be an option for their power play because of his offensive IQ.

We will need to wait and see if any of these three teams land Novak before the trade deadline passes from here.
