Coyotes Rumors: Asking Price for Jason Zucker Revealed

The Arizona Coyotes are preparing to trade forward Jason Zucker. The veteran forward is already being scratched for trade-related reasons, and there is a big trade market for him because of it.

The Coyotes' asking price for the veteran winger has now been revealed, as NHL insider David Pagnotta reported that the club is looking for as high as a second-round pick for Zucker with half of his salary retained.

Zucker, 32, is a pending unrestricted free agent on a Coyotes team out of the playoff race, so it easy to see why that they are selling him. Furthermore, when noting that they are completely willing to eat up half of his salary, that, understandably, has upped their asking price for him.

Zucker has been linked to array of NHL teams as we inch closer to deadline day, as the Boston Bruins, Vancouver Canucks, Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, New Jersey Devils, and Vegas Golden Knights have called been connected to them. When noting that Zucker is a solid middle-six forward who produces solid secondary offense, it makes sense that his market's heating up immensely.

In 51 games this season with the Coyotes, Zucker has nine goals to go along with 25 points.
