Islanders Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Offseason

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2024 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.

In this latest edition of the series, we will be focusing on the New York Islanders.

Anthony Duclair: The Islanders would be wise to add another scoring winger to their roster this summer. Because of this, one player who could be a great fit in their lineup is Anthony Duclair. He would work well in their top six and would give their power play a notable boost.

Nikita Zadorov: The Islanders' blue line could use more size and grit, so it would not be surprising if they made a push for Nikita Zadorov this summer. He is also able to play both sides, so that naturally adds to his appeal and value. Along with that, he would help their penalty kill because of his solid defensive play.

Christian Fischer: The Islanders are likely to add to their bottom six this offseason, and one player who could improve their roster is Christian Fischer. This is because he is an effective bottom-six forward who kills penalties and provides physicality along with it.
