Red Wings Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Daniel Sprong

Detroit Red Wings forward Daniel Sprong has had a strong season with the club. It has come at a great time, as the skilled winger is a pending UFA and will be getting a nice raise for his next contract because of it. This remains the case when he re-signs with the Red Wings or tests the market. If he does become a free agent this summer, look for these three teams to target him.

Chicago Blackhawks: While the Chicago Blackhawks are rebuilding, they would be wise to add to their forward group this offseason. Connor Bedard needs more help on his wings, and bringing in a fairly young forward with upside like Sprong would make sense for them because of it.

New York Islanders: The New York Islanders are going to need to add scoring help to their roster this offseason. It has been a need for quite some time, so they could consider targeting Sprong over the summer. He would give both their middle six and power play a big boost if signed.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings are certainly going to look to add a scoring winger this offseason. They tried to at the deadline, and that is expected to carry over to the summer. Sprong would give them more scoring and could fit nicely on their second line if signed.
