Stars Recall Top Prospect Mavrik Bourque

The Dallas Stars have made a notable roster move, as they have recalled top prospect Mavrik Bourque from the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Bourque, 22, is one of the Stars' most notable prospects and is viewed as having a very bright future. The 2020 first-round pick has had an incredible season down in the AHL with the Texas Stars, where he has 26 goals to go along with a league-leading 72 points. Needless to say, the young forward has earned this recall and will now look to make an impact for the Stars because of it.

Things are going incredibly for the Stars right now, as they are currently sporting an eight-game winning streak. Due to their recent dominance, they now have the most points in the Western Conference. Now, to add to the good vibes, they are calling up one of their most promising prospects in Bourque.

Bourque will provide the Stars with more insurance as they prepare for the final stretch of the season and postseason. He certainly is a good player to recall, as he has played well down in the AHL. Now, it will be a lot of fun to see how he performs for the Stars in response to landing this recall.
