3 Free-Agent Destinations for Anthony Mantha

Anthony Mantha had a nice bounce-back season split between the Washington Capitals and Vegas Golden Knights. In 74 games, the 6-foot-5 winger had 23 goals to go along with 44 points. As a result of his solid year, he should generate plenty of interest in free agency. Let's discuss three clubs that could target him now.

Montreal Canadiens: The Montreal Canadiens are likely to add to their forward group this offseason, as they want to be more competitive in 2024-25. A player like Mantha could certainly grab their attention, as their middle six needs a big boost. With that, he would work well as a net-front presence on their power play.

Anaheim Ducks: The Anaheim Ducks have made it known that they are planning to add to their forward group this summer. Mantha would be a strong addition to their roster if signed, as he would provide them with a veteran forward who scores and comes with size. He could be a great fit on their second if signed.

Philadelphia Flyers: The Philadelphia Flyers are expected to do a little spending this offseason after performing better than expected in 2024-25. Because of this, adding a bit more scoring should be a priority, and Mantha would give them that.
