Canadiens Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Tanner Pearson

Tanner Pearson is expected to hit the free agent market, as the Montreal Canadiens are likely to move on from him this summer. While he had a quiet season, there still could be interest in him because of his experience and ability to provide production in the bottom six. Let’s discuss three clubs who could target him now because of it.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings are expected to make some additions to their forward group this offseason. Bringing back a veteran like Pearson for their bottom six could be worth it, especially if he is signed to a cheap one-year deal.

Seattle Kraken: The Seattle Kraken could use some help in their bottom six, so a player like Pearson could grab their attention. He would work on their fourth line and also be a potential option for their power play because of his solid net-front presence ability.

Colorado Avalanche: The Colorado Avalanche are going to look for bottom-six forwards, as they have several free agents entering the summer. They have a history of bringing in veterans for their bottom six, so a player like Pearson could interest them.
