Islanders Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Mike Reilly

After a rough 2022-23 season with the Boston Bruins, Mike Reilly turned it back around big time this campaign. After a two-game stint with the Florida Panthers, Reilly was claimed off waivers by the Islanders and found success. In 59 games, he had six goals, 24 points, and a plus-1 rating.

Due to his strong season, Reilly should have plenty of suitors if the Islanders do not bring him back. Let's discuss three potential landing spots for him now.

Chicago Blackhawks: The Chicago Blackhawks could look to add to their blueline this offseason. Bringing in a solid veteran like Reilly could make sense for them because of it. He would give their power play a boost and fit into their top four.

Anaheim Ducks: The Anaheim Ducks are expected to spend some money this offseason. The left side of their defense could use a boost so they could take a shot on Reilly. He would give them a bit more dependability on the blueline if signed.

Calgary Flames: The Calgary Flames are another club that could take a shot on Reilly. They could use a bit more offense from the point, and Reilly could be a nice fit on their bottom pairing because of it. He would also be an obvious choice for their power play.
