Jets Rumors: 3 Free-Agent Destinations for Brenden Dillon

All signs are pointing to Winnipeg Jets defenseman Brenden Dillon hitting the free-agent market this offseason. The Jets have not had discussions with the 33-year-old about a new deal all season. As a result, let's go over three teams who could look to add the hard-hitting defender.

Boston Bruins: The Boston Bruins should be in the market for a left-shot defenseman this summer. This is especially so when noting that Matt Grzelcyk and Derek Forbort are both pending UFAs. Dillon would give the Bruins' blue line some much-needed bite if signed.

New York Islanders: The New York Islanders will look to improve their left side this offseason after an underwhelming postseason. Dillon would give their top four a big boost, and he would also be an obvious fit for their penalty kill if signed.

Nashville Predators: The Nashville Predators are expected to have a busy summer after taking a big step in the right direction this season. There is no question that they could use a steady defenseman like Dillon on their roster, so don't be surprised if they target him.
