3 Potential Trade Destinations for Jakob Chychrun

Ottawa Senators defenseman Jakob Chychrun is one of the top trade candidates heading into the offseason. The star is entering the final season of his deal, and he does not seem too enthusiastic about signing an extension to stay in Ottawa. Because of this, let's go over three teams who could target him this summer now.

Boston Bruins: The Boston Bruins have been connected to Chychrun for quite some time, and it has already been starting to translate over to the offseason. Now is a great time for them to try to add him, as they have plenty of cap space. With this, they also have two left-shot free agent defensemen who need to be replaced in Matt Grzelcyk and Derek Forbort.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings could certainly use some improvement on the left side of their defense. If they acquired Chychrun, he would be a massive addition to their top four and would work on both of their special team units because of his steady all-around play.

Philadelphia Flyers: The Philadelphia Flyers were linked to Chychrun leading up to the deadline, and it would not be all that surprising if that carried over to this summer. They could use a defenseman like him on their top pairing, and they have the money to give extend him.
