Senators' Brady Tkachuk, Tim Stutzle, Thomas Chabot injured vs Canadiens
The Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators preseason matchup on Tuesday night turned into a wild affair. The game was full of energy, animosity and unfortunate circumstances.
Throughout the heated tilt there were multiple fights, including between Senators captain Brady Tkachuk and Canadiens heavyweight Arber Xhekaj, after the Habs defenseman labelled Senators forward Tim Stutzle. The high-hit is certainly going to be reviewed by the NHL's department of player safety on Wednesday. Xhekaj was ejected for the hit.
Meanwhile, after the fight, Tkachuk left the game with what the team is calling an upper-body injury. Joining Stutzle and Tkachuk was Senators blueliner Thomas Chabot, who left the game in the third period, with what the team is calling for 'precautionary reasons'.
