NHL Rumors: 3 Potential Free-Agent Destinations For Adam Gaudette
Adam Gaudette proved to be a good signing for the Ottawa Senators this season. After playing in just two games with the St. Louis Blues in 2023-24, Gaudette scored a career-high 19 goals and recorded 26 points in 81 games.
After a solid season, Gaudette should generate interest around the league if the Senators do not re-sign him by July 1. Due to this, let's look at three teams who could look to sign him.
Pittsburgh Penguins
The Penguins could use more secondary scoring, so it would not be all that surprising if they made a push for Gaudette this summer. If they signed him, he would have the potential to slot nicely in their bottom six and be a potential option for their second power play unit.
Buffalo Sabres
The Sabres could make sense as a suitor for Gaudette this summer. He would have the potential to be a nice fit on their fourth line, as he would give them a bit more depth offensive production. This is something they could use more of, so don't be surprised if they make a push for the Massachusetts native this offseason.
Nashville Predators
The Predators should be looking to improve their forward group this offseason after a bad 2024-25 season. While Gaudette would not be the flashiest of signings for the Predators, he would upgrade their third line and would also work on their power play.
