NHL Rumors: 3 Potential Free-Agent Destinations For Jack Roslovic
The Carolina Hurricanes' postseason run came to an end with their Game 5 loss to the Florida Panthers. Now, they have a busy offseason ahead.
One of their top pending free agents heading into the summer is forward Jack Roslovic. If they do not re-sign him by July 1 and he hits the market, these three teams could end up being in the mix for his services.
Pittsburgh Penguins
The Penguins need more secondary scoring if they hope to turn things around, and a player like Roslovic could grab their attention because of it. When looking at their roster, Roslovic could be a solid addition to their middle six and would also offer them another option for their power play.
Nashville Predators
The Predators could be another team to watch if Roslovic hits the free-agent market this offseason. It is apparent that their forward group needs a lot of help, and a player like Roslovic would improve their top nine. This is especially so when noting that he can play both down the middle and on the wing.
Chicago Blackhawks
The Blackhawks are hoping to take a step forward next season, and they will need more depth offensive production to do so. Due to this, a player like Roslovic could make a lot of sense for Chicago in a middle-six role. At 28 years old, he is also among the young pending UFAs, which could intrigue a rebuilding team like the Blackhawks.
