The deal comes with an AAV of $812,500. Per PuckPedia, Levi will maintain the same salary whether with Buffalo or in the minors. He'll receive $775,000 this coming season and $850,000 in 2026-27. After that, he'll once again become an RFA.
In nine games played at the NHL level this past season, Levi struggled, posting a 2-7-0 mark with an .872 save percentage and a 4.12 goals against average. But he was strong once again at the AHL level, with a 25-13-4 record, a .919 Sv% and a 2.20 GAA.
The Sabres have Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and free-agent signing Alex Lyon between the pipes, so it remains to be seen if Levi is able to crack the roster to begin the coming season.
