Former Maple Leafs Players Savagely Torch the Team's 'Disgraceful' Effort

It's one thing when the fans start booing. And when the media trashes them. But now we can add in former team alumni among those absolutely torching the Toronto Maple Leafs

First, Jay Rosehill, currently of The Leafs Nation, let them have it on Leafs Morning Take, calling the current version of the squad "A f--king disgrace!":

In the aftermath of the team's lackluster 4-0 whipping at the hands of the Washington Capitals, Rosehill let loose on the Leafs. He's tired of the blame always falling on the coach.

"I've played for Craig Berube... He's so straightforward, he's honest, he's not crazy negative. He's not flipping tables and screaming in guys' faces. He just says 'We gotta show up and we gotta do the right things'...

"I can't believe it, and I think these next 24 hours are gonna be, like, something's gonna happen here. And I think it's probably gonna be Craig Berube fired, and I think it's a f--king disgrace!"

Nick Kypreos, now a Leafs insider on Sportsnet, was also critical of the idea of a coaching change.

I'm just tired of (everyone saying) 'It's the coach.'... Especially with this particular group... You fire Craig Berube and Morgan Rielly is on to his sixth coach. SIXTH. And Auston Matthews now, in 10 years? FOUR coaches. Maybe it's not the coach!

Something is going to hit the fan in Toronto, and it'll be fascinating to see what the first shoe is to drop.
