Celebrini & McKenna Joining Team Canada for World Championships
Team Canada is going to be absolutely loaded in Switzerland for the World Championships.
After naming several NHL veterans to their roster over the last week or so, the management team has been able to convince San Jose Sharks superstar Macklin Celebrini to head overseas, as well as this year's likely first overall draft pick Gavin McKenna.

McKenna and Celebrini join the likes of Mark Scheifele, Mat Barzal, Ryan O'Reilly, and Morgan Rielly, who were all recently named. The team is being assembled by a couple of former Maple Leafs as Brad Treliving and Jason Spezza are working together to construct the lineup.
Canada has failed to medal the past two World Championship so you know the team will be trying to load up to get their program back on track. Adding Celebrini will help as he's slowly becoming the face of the NHL. The Sharks star, at just 19 years old, put up a 115-point season, and had six points in last year's Worlds, and also added 10 points in six Olympic games back in February.
McKenna on the other had, he's had an up-and-down season but in the second half of the college season was dominant. He put up 51 points, and has represented Canada on numerous occasions, including the past two world juniors.
