NHL Rumors: 3 Florida Panthers Offseason Trade Candidates
The Florida Panthers could be an interesting team to watch during the offseason due to their limited cap space. They could very well look to make some changes to their roster because of this.
Due to this, let's take a look at three players who the Florida Panthers could listen to offers for during the summer.
Evan Rodrigues
Rodrigues has come up in the rumor mill in the past, and he will be entering the final season of his contract in 2026-27. Due to this, if the Panthers do not view the 32-year-old forward as a long-term part of their plans, they very well could flip him and his $3 million cap hit over the summer. The veteran forward had 11 goals and 31 points in 69 games this season before suffering his season-ending injury.
Jesper Boqvist
Boqvist could be another Panthers forward to watch during the offseason. The 27-year-old has a $1.5 million cap hit until the end of the 2026-27 season, and the Panthers could likely find a replacement for him at a lower cap hit. In 65 games this season, he has recorded three goals and 11 points.
Dmitry Kulikov
If the Panthers want to free up some cap space, one player who could be worth moving is Kulikov. The veteran defenseman has been a solid depth player for Florida, but, like with Boqvist, they could find a cheaper replacement for him. Kulikov has a $1.15 million cap hit until the end of the 2027-28 season. In 17 games this season, he has zero points and a minus-5 rating.
