Report: Seattle Kraken Making Massive Trade Offers
Keep an eye on the Seattle Kraken as trade winds are swirling hard out west.
With the Stanley Cup Final kicking off Tuesday, there's been plenty of chatter off the ice as the offseason looms. Expect to see the Seattle Kraken making a huge splash at the NHL Draft in a few weeks in Buffalo, and it's very likely we'll see their first-rounder moved.

There's also been reports circling that Shane Wright is in play with trade talks as well, and if the Kraken package their #7 overall pick and Wright, it will land them a first-line forward, top-pair defenceman, or a package that could help balance out their lineup.
As far as potential trade partners go, the New York Rangers are a team to keep an eye on as they own the #5 pick and are willing to deal. Same can be said about the Chicago Blackhawks, and San Jose Sharks, although it's tough to see the Kraken moving such big assets in the Western Conference.
Out east, keep an eye on the Montreal Canadiens, New York Islanders, who have Mat Barzal on the open market, and also watch out for the Detroit Red Wings, who are apparently open for business on just about anyone who is an available top six forward. They have a couple of goaltending prospects who are on the radars of other teams, and they could align as trade partners for the Kraken.
