Free-Agent Logan Stanley Linked to Anaheim Ducks
Towering defenceman Logan Stanley is coming off a career season, and still sits without a contract.
Stanley's an unrestricted free agent and many felt he'd land a four-year deal around $4 million AAV, and approaching the end of August, the former first-round pick is still looking for work next season. Stanley split time between the Buffalo Sabres and Winnipeg Jets last season, and while he battled some consistency issues, still finished with statistically his best season.
The Sabres seemingly gave up on Stanley to end their Stanley Cup Playoff run, as they decided to healthy scratch him throughout their postseason run. Stanley has a young family and wanted to return to Winnipeg, but management decided to pursue other options.
Looking forward to next season, the 6-foot-7 rugged blueliner is being linked to the Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks need proven NHL defenceman and currently are in the market to add at least one more d-man. Daily Faceoff connected with former NHLer Michael Rupp recently, and Rupp feels the Ducks are a perfect home for the lanky blueliner:
Would Logan Stanley be a good fit in Anaheim?

Will Stanley sign in Anaheim? He's running out of days until training camps open, so if it's not Anaheim, let us know in the comments where you feel Stanley could wind up.
