Kris Russell scores slapshot into own net for game winner

It was a 4-4 tie game, until Edmonton Oilers defenseman Kris Russell panicked in the slot as Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri came bearing down. Russell took a slapshot on his own net and scored on goalie Laurent Brossoit with 1:05 to play.



Russell's own goal was credited to Patrick Marleau. Kadri added an empty-netter on a wild night at Rogers Place. The Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Edmonton Oilers 6-4.
