Evgeni Nabokov vs Patrick Marleau Trade Rumors

Trade rumors continue to surround the Sharks and their players, Marleau and Nabokov.

Marleau's salary this season was $6.3 million. Nabokov made $6 million. With many free agents to sign such as Joe Pavelski and Devin Setoguchi, it is time for the Sharks to trade either Marleau or Nabokov, while they have high trade values. Patrick Marleau is on the top of his game with a career high 44 goal season and decent playoff performance to boot. Nabokov has always been a much sought after goalie. Who would you trade?

I don't think the Sharks have a capable goalie to take over the #1 position. So I don't see the Sharks trading Nabokov. Maybe it is time for Marleau to be traded from the San Jose team that drafted him second overall? A big loss but the Sharks can't afford the 7mil+ price tag.
