Mike Fisher Trade Rumors

The Ottawa Senators are currently 9th place in the Eastern Conference, 6 points out of a playoff spot. GM Bryan Murray is ready to shake the roster up. Murray has been shopping Jason Spezza since the summer but he hasn't been able to trade him. Spezza's recent shoulder injury makes him virtually impossible to trade.

Murray is more likely to be able to trade Mike Fisher, who has 10 goals and 6 assists in 37 games played this year. Fisher led his Senators in goals last year with 25. Fisher would probably be liked to be moved to an American team to make things easier for him and Carrie Underwood. The teams currently interested in trading for Fisher are the Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, St. Louis Blues, and Nashville Predators.
