2011 Jaromir Jagr Trade Rumors

Czech superstar, Jaromir Jagr, has been looking to make a comeback to the NHL for the 2011-2012 season. In the recent weeks, he has been exploring his options, talking to teams such as the Pittsburgh Penguins, Detroit Red Wings and Montreal Canadiens.

Jagr who is 39 years old is looking for a one year deal. He is ninth all-time in NHL scoring behind Joe Sakic and has won the Stanley Cup twice with the Pittsburgh Penguins. General Manager Ray Shero says, "He was an icon in Pittsburgh. We'd like to see him finish his career here."

Jagr signed a 1 year deal today worth $3.3 million with a NHL club. Shero did not get his wish. Leaving a bitter taste in Penguin fans' mouths, Jagr struck a deal with their number one rival, the Philadelphia Flyers.
