2011 Keith Yandle Trade Rumors

The latest trade rumors surround the Phoenix Coyotes and their star defenceman, Keith Yandle for the 2011-2012 NHL offseason. Yandle who is 24 years old, brokeout last season, putting up 59 points and leading the way for his team. Yandle has improved every season he has played in the NHL. The restricted free agent is looking for a large raise, well over the $1.3 million he got paid last season.

The Coyotes may lose Yandle because their ownership situation is uncertain and teams looking for a top pairing defenceman may put an offer sheet on him. It is unlikely the Coyotes can match a strong offer. Look for the New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders and Edmonton Oilers to make an offer for Yandle.
