The Edmonton Oilers and Anaheim Ducks continue to revamp their teams for the 2011-2012 NHL season. The Oilers traded speedy center Cogliano to the Anaheim Ducks in return for a 2nd round entry draft pick in 2013. It is a fair deal for both teams. Originally Cogliano was drafted as a late first rounder in Edmonton, but after a great rookie season his game regressed.

A change of scenery may help him to recapture his fine form. Recently, Cogs took the Oilers to salary arbitration and it is expected he will be awarded $1.5 - 2.0 million a season and it will be with his new team the Anaheim Ducks.
