Ottawa Senators Trade Rumors

The latest trade rumors surround the Ottawa Senators for the 2011-2012 NHL season. The Senators are entering a full rebuild and are looking to trade veteran players for solid picks or prospects. There are rumors swirling that Jason Spezza their number one center is going to be traded. Spezza is only 27 years old and wants to stay around for the rebuild.

The big names on the verge of being traded are Daniel Alfredsson, Filip Kuba, and Sergei Gonchar. All three players are veterans and are nearing the end of their NHL career. Alfredsson who is 38 years old wants to be traded to a Stanley Cup contender such as the Pittsburgh Penguins, Detroit Red Wings, Philadelphia Flyers or Washington Capitals.
