Pittsburgh Penguins Trade Rumors

The latest trade rumors surround the Pittsburgh Penguins for the 2011-2012 NHL season. The Penguins are reportedly talking to a western conference team regarding a winger to play with Sidney Crosby.

There has been talk of the Pens looking for a winger to compliment Crosby for years. They proved in 2009 when they won the Stanley Cup, that elite centers such as Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Jordan Staal are more valuable than elite wingers.

Jordan Staal is the most probable center to be traded for an elite winger. The Pittsburgh Penguins are in trade talks with the Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, Chicago Blackhawks and St Louis Blues.
