Eric Staal Trade Rumors

Trade rumors continue to surround the Carolina Hurricanes for the 2011-2012 NHL season. The Hurricanes are last in the Eastern Conference and Eric Staal has been struggling. As their captain and number one center, he is having problems leading and contributing on the ice.

Staal who is 27 years old has been close to a point per game player for most of his career. He could use a change of scenery with 14 points in 28 games and is a -17. The Nashville Predators, Phoenix Coyotes, Dallas Stars, Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers are interested in making a deal for Eric Staal.
