Andrei Kostitsyn Trade Rumors

Trade rumors continue to surround the Montreal Canadiens and Andrei Kostitsyn for the 2012 NHL season. The Habs are underperforming and sit bottom of the Eastern Conference. GM Pierre Gauthier has recently traded Mike Cammalleri for Rene Bourque in an effort to get bigger up front.

Another perimeter winger, named Kostitsyn is being shopped around. The 26 year old has 21 points in 38 games and has a cap hit of $3.25 million. He is becoming a UFA and Gauthier is looking to shake up his team again. The Nashville Predators, Dallas Stars, Tampa Bay Lightning and Winnipeg Jets are interested in a trade with the Habs before the 2012 NHL trade deadline.
