Teemu Selanne Trade Rumors

Trade rumors surround the Anaheim Ducks and winger Teemu Selanne for the 2012 NHL season. The Ducks have sunk to an all time low this season and are currently 2nd last in NHL, one point above the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Selanne is 41 years old and is playing at a point per game pace. His thoughts on asking for a trade are: "When you win once and you get the feeling, it’s something that you can’t describe and it’s something that you want to do again. I waited 15 years. I don’t have another 15 years to wait. That would be just unbelievable. The reason why I’m still playing is because I’ve been on a good team and we have been winning and I’m just enjoying this so much. Now we don’t have either one at this moment."

Selanne has won a Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks in the past and wants to win another one with a present contender. Look for the New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins, Chicago Blackhawks, Vancouver Canucks and Detroit Red Wings to make a move for Teemu Selanne before the 2012 NHL trade deadline.
