Tuukka Rask Trade Rumors

Tuukka Rask is fed up with being backup goaltender to Tim Thomas for the Boston Bruins. Rask says, "The truth is I want to play more. I don't want spend my entire career on the bench. It feels like no matter how well I play, I'm on the bench in the next game. Even if I get a shutout it's not enough."

Rask is 24 and in his last year of a contract with a cap hit of $1.25 million per season. The Finnish goaltender is a restricted free agent on July 1st and the Boston Bruins are considering trading him to the Tampa Bay Lightning, Columbus Blue Jackets and Edmonton Oilers.
